[dutch] Op zaterdag 31 mei wordt afgetrapt voor een nieuw festival op het DRU Park in Ulft: Coverland met optredens van de grootste cover- en tributebands uit binnen- en buitenland. Het betreft een dagvullend programma variërend van populaire bands uit de jaren ‘60 tot heden. De organisatie claimt met Coverland het grootste cover-festival van Nederland neer te zetten, met als doel de komende jaren uit te groeien naar het grootste coverfestival van de Benelux. Aerosmith, The Beatles, Muse Nirvana, U2 en The Who zijn een greep uit de gevarieerde line-up die binnenkort in zijn geheel bekend wordt gemaakt. Ook ABBA Gold, de meest geboekte ABBA tribute band van Europa die wereldwijd al zo’n 2.200 shows heeft gespeeld en de gevestigde Pink Floyd coverband Pink Project zijn op 31 mei van de partij. Op het DRU Park vindt op Hemelvaartsdag de vierde editie van Festivaart plaats. De organisatie vond dit niet genoeg en besloot daarom twee dagen erna Coverland te houden.
