Chico Abelino – Bass / Backing vocals
Chico Abelino is the bassist, backing vocalist, and technical director for Musest.
Born in February 1988, he honed his skills at the Rockacademy and SAE Institute, which gave him a solid foundation in music and sound engineering. Chico’s style is shaped by his love for bands like Nothing But Thieves, Royal Blood, Queens of the Stone Age, and Nine Inch Nails, influences that resonate in his playing and approach to the band’s sound.
Outside of Musest, Chico works as an audio programmer and system architect at AVEX, bringing his technical expertise into his professional life as well.
He lives in Gorinchem with his girlfriend, Maartje. Beyond music, Chico enjoys spending time on creative hobbies like 3D design, woodworking, and gardening—always finding new ways to stay inspired.
